Luciano del Valle

He obtained his PhD from the Astronomy department of the University of Chile in 2016. After, he was a researcher at the Instute d’Astrophysique (Paris) in the BLACK ERC group, where he studied the dynamic evolution of super massive black holes using numerical tools.

In NPF group, his research focuses on the study of debris disks and the mechanisms by which rocky planets can acquire the water needed to form oceans. In this context, he studies the evaporation of volatile elements in planetesimals that could have transported water to the rocky planets using N-body simulations.
